#CannabisJournalism is back for the spring interterm at the University of Denver. Current and enrolled DU students are welcome to attend this session that meetings March 25-29. Fields trips to local grows and local media agencies are on the agenda, along with a full schedule of in-class speakers and introductory journalism/media education.
We’re back in action June 13-17 for the Summer Interterm 2016 edition of #CannabisJournalism. Working on visiting a hemp grow in Longmont, a visit to the Denver Post Cannabist show, a tour of SweetGrass Kitchen, and a few other guest speakers and on-site trips for the week. With the launch of the documentary Rolling Papers, there was a perfect entry point for the class to wrap their heads around the current events that are shaping Colorado’s culture, policy and position in the world’s greatest social science experiment still in progress.
Two guests in the morning as the meat of the sandwich. Writing in the afternoon as the top slice, with the morning huddle and style talk as the foundation. It will be a less-hectic today compared to Tuesday and Wednesday. A cup of soup and a half sandwich kind of day.
