#CannabisJournalism is back for the spring interterm at the University of Denver. Current and enrolled DU students are welcome to attend this session that meetings March 25-29. Fields trips to local grows and local media agencies are on the agenda, along with a full schedule of in-class speakers and introductory journalism/media education.

After a truly educational week Spring Interterm session of #CannabisJournalism, I was able to sit in with Ricardo Baca of the Denver Post on his Cannabist Show and talk about my recent experiences teaching this class and about his evolution on the marijuana beat.
With the launch of the documentary Rolling Papers, there was a perfect entry point for the class to wrap their heads around the current events that are shaping Colorado’s culture, policy and position in the world’s greatest social science experiment still in progress.
